Manage subscription: seats, cancel, undo
If your workspace is on a paid plan, Manage subscription in the Billing tab lets you check the next charge, add Plus or Business seats, cancel the subscription, or withdraw a scheduled cancellation.
Open Manage subscription
Section titled “Open Manage subscription”Open your avatar at the bottom of the navigation rail (Account menu) → the gear on the workspace’s row ({name} settings) → Workspace settings → Billing tab, and scroll to Manage subscription. There is no direct URL, and guests have no gear.
Manage subscription shows the following (the parts in braces are replaced with real values):
Next charge: {date} · {amount}- for Plus and Business,
{seats} prepaid seatsand an Add seats button Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the current billing period, then switches to Free.- a Cancel subscription button
Add seats (Plus and Business)
Section titled “Add seats (Plus and Business)”You can add seats to a Plus or Business subscription at any time.
-
In Manage subscription, select Add seats.
-
In the Add seats dialog, enter the number in Seats to add.
-
Check the amount shown in the dialog:
Pay {amount} now to apply immediately. From the next renewal you are billed for {seats} seats.
-
Select Pay and add. You’re done when you see
Seats added.
- An amount calculated for the rest of the current billing period is charged now, and the seats are added immediately. The renewal date doesn’t change.
- From the next renewal, you’re billed for the new total number of seats.
- A subscription can have at most 500 seats in total.
- Payment and failure messages are the same as when upgrading; see If card registration or payment fails.
Add seats appears only on an active paid subscription with no scheduled change, such as a pending cancellation. In any other state, trying it shows Seats can only be added to an active paid subscription with no scheduled change. You can’t add seats during a trial.
Cancel the subscription
Section titled “Cancel the subscription”-
In Manage subscription, select Cancel subscription.
-
In the confirmation dialog, select Cancel plan. If you change your mind, select Go back.
-
You see
Cancellation scheduled for the end of the billing period., and Manage subscription shows this notice with a Withdraw button:Your subscription is scheduled to end on {date}.
After you cancel, your plan stays as it is until the end of the current billing period, and then the workspace switches to Free. No further charge is made. The switch to Free happens in a routine that runs once a day after the billing period ends, so it can take up to about a day.
For refunds, see the Billing FAQ.
After the switch to Free
Section titled “After the switch to Free”When the billing period ends and the workspace switches to Free, the following applies. The same is true when a trial ends.
- Signed notes can still be viewed and verified.
- Members and guests stay. On Free, you can invite new members but not new guests.
- Trash retention goes back to 30 days. This applies to notes deleted from then on; notes already in the trash keep their scheduled deletion dates.
- The monthly AI usage cap, 500MB image storage, and Free recording limits apply. If storage use is over 500MB, you can’t upload new images.
For each plan’s limits, see Plans and limits.
Withdraw a scheduled cancellation
Section titled “Withdraw a scheduled cancellation”Before the billing period ends, you can undo a scheduled cancellation.
- In the
Your subscription is scheduled to end on {date}.notice in Manage subscription, select Withdraw. - When you see
The scheduled change was withdrawn., the subscription continues as before and renews normally on the next charge date.
To withdraw, a card must be registered. If you removed the card after cancelling, withdrawing fails with the message below. This message appears in Korean even when the app is set to English:
등록된 결제 수단이 없어 철회할 수 없습니다. 카드를 다시 등록한 뒤 철회해 주세요.
(English: “You can’t withdraw because no payment method is registered. Register a card again, then withdraw.”)
Move from Business to Plus
Section titled “Move from Business to Plus”You can’t move from Business straight to Plus in the app. To use Plus, cancel the Business subscription; once the billing period ends and the workspace switches to Free, subscribe to Plus (if Plus is on sale).
