  • Theme: Choose Light, Dark or System. System follows your device’s light or dark setting.
  • Language: Choose 한국어 or English. Changing the language reloads the page, and any note you’re editing is saved first. If saving fails, the app shows Couldn't save your note, so the language switch was cancelled. Please try again. and the language stays the same.

Your theme and language choices are saved in the browser you’re using. You may need to choose again in another browser or on another device. Until you choose a language, the app follows your browser’s language setting.

  • Profile: Change your Name and select Save. Email is shown for reference only, with Email can't be changed.
  • Change password: For accounts that signed up with email, enter Current password, New password and Confirm new password. Changing it logs out other devices.
  • Create password: Accounts created with social login such as Google, which have no password, can create one. After that, both social login and email login work.

Connected accounts is where you manage the tools connected to your account.

  • AI tool connection (MCP): Automatically logs work finished in AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor as MashNote activity. You also generate the auto-logging prompt here. See AI tool connection (MCP).

  1. Select your avatar at the bottom of the navigation rail (Account menu).
  2. In the workspace list, select the gear on the workspace’s row ({name} settings). The current workspace’s gear is always visible; for other workspaces it appears when you hover over the row or focus it with the keyboard.

The workspace name appears at the top of the Workspace settings dialog. There’s no direct link to Workspace settings, and workspaces you joined as a guest have no gear.

Item What it does Who can change it

My role Shows your role in this workspace. —
Allow share links Controls whether new public web links can be created for notes. Owners, admins

When Allow share links is off, no new public web links can be created for notes. Public links that already exist aren’t revoked or deleted automatically and keep working. To stop an existing link, turn off link sharing in that note’s sharing settings. See Note sharing.

The new retention period applies to notes deleted after you save the setting. The scheduled permanent-deletion dates of notes already in Trash don’t change. In Free workspaces, the 60- and 90-day options are disabled. For restore and permanent-delete permissions, see Trash and restoring notes.

  • See the member list, roles and the Guests group. Every role except guests can see it.
  • Owners and admins can Invite, Resend or Cancel Pending invitations, change roles and remove people, and on Plus and Business they also see seat usage.

For details, see Workspaces and members and Roles.

Check the current plan, payment method, plan comparison, trial code and subscription management. Every role except guests can see it, but only owners and admins can change anything.
