Plans and limits

MashNote plans apply per workspace. There is no personal plan: a workspace’s plan applies equally to everyone in that workspace. If you belong to several workspaces, each one has its own plan.

Open the Billing tab

You check your plan, upgrade, and manage the card and subscription in the Billing tab of Workspace settings. There is no direct URL, so open it like this:

Select your avatar at the bottom of the navigation rail (Account menu).
In the workspace list, select the gear on the workspace’s row ({name} settings). For a workspace other than the current one, the gear appears when you hover over the row.
When Workspace settings opens, select the Billing tab.

Owners, admins and members can all see the Billing tab. Workspaces you joined as a guest have no gear.

About the plans

Prices are in KRW, VAT included, and billed monthly. There’s no annual billing.
Plus and Business are billed per purchased seat. Each owner, admin and member uses one seat; guests and pending invitations don’t use seats.
Seats added during a billing period are charged pro rata for the rest of the period.

Monthly AI usage

AI usage is counted in AI credits. The agent, AI Assist, AI Cortex and other AI features share the same workspace’s credits.

Credits are counted per workspace, rather than assigned separately to each user.
Free includes a free monthly allowance for each workspace.
Plus and Business include a per-seat allowance multiplied by purchased seats. For the same seat count, Business includes more credits. Removing a member doesn’t change the allowance if the purchased seat count stays the same.
It resets at 00:00 on the 1st of each month (Korea time).
When the allowance runs out, AI features show this message:

You’ve used all of this month’s AI credits. They reset on the 1st of each month.
Features that don’t use AI, such as writing notes, keep working. AI Cortex automatic updates show as failed with the reason Monthly usage limit exceeded, and can run again after the monthly reset.

Credits deducted depend on the conversation length, answer length and the selected model’s usage multiplier. See Agent model selection for model multipliers and how Auto uses credits. Calls where the model refuses to respond don’t deduct credits.

You can choose a model in agent chats. AI Assist, image text extraction (OCR), AI Cortex and other features use models selected automatically by the server, independently of your agent model choice.

Image storage

Images you upload to notes share one storage allowance for the whole workspace: 500MB on Free, 20GB on Plus and Business. A single image can be up to 10MB.

When a Free workspace reaches its limit, you see:

The workspace image storage limit has been reached. Upgrade to Business for more storage space.

The message mentions only Business, but upgrading to Plus or Business raises storage to 20GB. On a paid plan, using all 20GB shows The workspace image storage limit has been reached.

Meeting and whiteboard recording

Recordings in meeting notes and on the whiteboard share the same monthly voice-transcription allowance. It resets on the 1st of each month (Korea time).

Free: smaller limits on the length of a single recording and on monthly usage, and no speaker labels.
Plus and Business: larger limits, and voices are labeled by speaker.

When a Free workspace uses up its monthly allowance, you see:

You have used all of this month’s voice transcription allowance. Upgrade to get more.

If a single recording runs past the plan’s length limit, you see This plan's meeting recording duration limit has been exceeded. (on the whiteboard: This recording exceeds your plan's duration limit.).

Member invites and seats

Owners and admins can invite members and admins on every plan. Guest invites are available only on Plus and Business.

Free: no member headcount limit. Members share AI credits and storage.
Plus and Business: members and admins can join up to the purchased seat count, including the owner.
Guests: can be invited on Plus and Business and don’t use seats.

On Plus and Business, seats are counted like this:

Each member or admin, including the owner, uses one seat.
A seat is used when an invitee accepts and joins. Pending invitations don’t reserve or use seats.
While seats are available, you can invite more people than the remaining seat count. Seats go to whoever accepts first. If no seat is available at acceptance, joining is declined and the invitation stays pending.
Guests don’t use seats. To change a guest to a member or admin, though, you need a free seat.
Owners and admins can see usage in the Members tab as Seats {used}/{limit} (incl. owner).

When every seat is taken, the Invite button shows the message below, and the invite dialog only lets you invite with the guest role.

Trash retention

Owners and admins set how long newly deleted notes are kept in Workspace settings → General → Data retention → Trash retention period. Free can only choose 30 days; the 60- and 90-day options are disabled. Plus and Business can choose 30, 60 or 90 days.

R&D Addon and research-note e-signatures

The R&D Addon is a separate package added to a Business workspace. It connects research-note e-signatures, trusted timestamps, audits and history to the research record flow. Terms are shared during implementation consultation; see the R&D solution for details.

For now, if you try to sign in a workspace that can’t create signatures, the app opens a Business plan required dialog. Notes that are already signed can be viewed and hash-verified on any plan.
