Organize and link cards
Search, filter and sort
Section titled “Search, filter and sort”As cards pile up, use the tools at the top of the board to find the ones you want.
- Search — the
Search card titles and contentbox searches titles and content together. - Filter — select the filter button (Tag filters) to narrow by Card type, Card color and tags. Selecting a Frequently used tag at the top of the board also applies a tag filter.
- If you pick several tags, only cards that have all of them are shown.
- If you pick several types or colors, cards that match any of them are shown.
- Active filters show as chips such as
Type: …,Color: …andTag: #…. Select Reset filters to clear them all at once.
- Sort — sort By time (most recent activity) or By title. Select the same button again to switch between ascending and descending order.
Pinned cards always come first, whatever the search or sort.
Use the icons to the right of the sort buttons to switch views. Your choice is saved in this browser.
- Card view (grid icon) — the default view, with cards laid out in columns like bricks.
- List view (list icon) — cards shown one per row.
Link notes
Section titled “Link notes”Link related notes to a card so you can jump from the card straight to the note. Save the card first before linking.
- Open the card and select Link notes under Linked notes.
- In the Link related notes window, find notes with
Search note titles or tagsand select them. - Select Apply.
The number of linked notes appears as a badge on the card.
Link references
Section titled “Link references”You can link references to any card, not just Reference cards. Save the card first, then select Link references under the card’s Linked references.
- Search existing references — search references already registered in the workspace by title, author, DOI or PMID, then select Link. Items already linked show Linked.
- Add a new reference — enter the Title, Authors (comma-separated), Year, Journal / Conference, DOI and URL yourself, then select Create and link.
Linked references show on the card as first author · year · journal, and identifiers such as DOI, PMID and arXiv are kept with them. Items you entered yourself show Added manually. You can Unlink any reference at any time.
When you save an agent answer as an idea card, sources used in the answer are linked as references automatically where possible. See Agent.
